Our Process

BDSDigital involves you in every step of the process, from planning through to delivery and beyond.
Our process for a website design and build is outlined below.

1. Brief and Planning

Our team will meet with you to ensure we fully understand your needs and that you understand the range of services we offer.

This leads onto research into your business and its market and your competitors.

We will develop, in consultation with you, a plan for your project.

This plan will take into account your budget and result in a specification.

2. Design

Design addresses both the look and structure of your website and how this relates to any other associated work such as branding and pre-existing material.

We will present these to you, and you will have the opportunity to offer feedback and make amendments. You will need to sign-off on all elements before we proceed to the next stage.

Our designers will use all the research they have undertaken, the content that you plan to have and feed in the results of our joint discussions to develop engaging designs that convey the correct message for your business.

3. Website Development

Our team of programmers will build your website.

At this stage we add your content to the website. This needs to be supplied by you or commissioned from our content creation team.

You will have a preview of the website.

Once the website has been built and agreed with you, it goes through a rigorous testing process across all platforms and devices. 

4. Training

We will invite you in for a training session which will show you how to update and manage your website and content and answer any questions you may have.

5. Launch

The final stage is getting your website off the ground and into cyberspace for everyone to visit.

Part of the launch process is to ensure that your website is optimised for search engines such as Google.

6. Support

Support packages are available, and we recommend you adopt one. These include keeping your website up to date with security patches to ensure that it is always protected, and an online helpdesk that runs from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, where you can send in any queries. We answer all queries in a timely fashion and are always happy to help.
