North East Scotland Biological Records Centre
NESBReC collates, manages and provides biological information for the North East of Scotland. The organisation covers Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City, Moray and the Cairngorms National Park. NESBReC maintains a database of biodiversity information, frequently used by partners, decision makers, education and conservation bodies, national recording schemes and the wider community to assist with land use planning, conservation, site management and research.
We were asked to develop a modern brand and website for NESBReC. We wanted the brand to suggest youth and regeneration, so we developed a palette of blue and green reflecting the natural environment. The responsive website features maps, news articles, forms and galleries.
